I made these for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party. They were quite easy to make, yet a little time consuming as I had to make about 48, including a ribbon. But turned out so pretty!
Supplies Needed:
Water bottles
2-inch shipping tape with attached cutter (bought mine at Kinko's about $3.00)
1. Measure diameter of water bottle (mine was about 8 inches long).
2. Make width about 1 3/4 in. tall so final label size 1 3/4 x 8.
3. Use photoshop, fireworks, or whatever favorite photo editor you choose to design label. Upload picture if you like.
4. Paste copy to a Word document. Make sure orientation is set to portrait. You can paste several on one page to print multiple labels on 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I was able to fit about 5 labels per page. If your length is longer than 8 inches, decrease your margins.
5. Cut out labels using cutter or scissors. Will be a straighter cut with a cutter.
6. Remove manufacture label from water bottle.
7. Cut enough tape to cover label ends and apply to bottle. The 2 inch tape will cover the width of the label.
Add a pretty little ribbon!
And there you have a personalized water bottle for any occasion! Great for birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, etc.
